The Paddock Menus

Our substantial Welsh breakfasts are cooked on the aga using fresh wholesome ingredients. Fresh free range eggs with award winning sausages, local cured back bacon and followed with a selection of homemade preserves. We use all locally sourced ingredients. Breakfast is served with Maxwell Williams white china and crisp white table linen. After a peaceful nights sleep start your day with our delicious “flavoursome breakfast”.

BREAKFAST MENU

• A selection of breakfast cereals
• Homemade baked granola
• Orange juice
• Mixed berry smoothie
• Poached apricots and figs with honey/cinnamon
• Pink grapefruit segments
• Low fat fruit yoghurt

GRILLED TRADITIONAL WELSH BREAKFAST

Cooked on the Aga and served with award winning sausages or homemade vegetarian Caerphilly sausages, locally produced back bacon and fresh farm eggs (fried scrambled or poached), mushrooms, herby tomatoes

OPTIONAL EXTRAS AVAILABLE - WITH PRIOR NOTICE

• Homemade Aga porridge
• Bacon fritters with maple syrup
• Boiled eggs
• Fruit pop overs with creme fraiche
• Smoked haddock cakes and poached egg
• Toasted bagel with smoked salmon, poached egg and hollandaise sauce
• Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs
• Roasted field mushroom with crispy bacon and scrambled eggs
• Served with a selection of homemade preserves, fresh coffee/decaf, Welsh tea, earl grey, fruit/herb tea.

 

 

Dinner Menu

SAMPLE DINNER MENU 1

• Goats cheese and red onion tartlets.
• Stuffed halibut with crab and prawns
• hot chocolate souffles or selection of Welsh cheese with chutney, biscuits and fruit.
• Coffee with homemade chocolate truffle.

SAMPLE DINNER MENU 2

• Pan fried scallops with asparagus cream and frazzled bacon
• Baked lamb with redcurrant and port jus, dauphinoise potatoes, seasonal vegetables
• Glazed lemon tart with passion fruit or selection of Welsh cheese with chutney, biscuits and fruit
• Coffee with homemade chocolate truffle.
